Day 1 : Colombo – Ceylon Tea Trails, Hatton (Approx. drive 4 hrs 30 mins) (2 Nights)

Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met by a representative and proceed by your private transfer to Ceylon Tea Trails, Hatton. It is world’s first tea bungalow resort, situated at an altitude of 1250 meters near Hatton in central Sri Lanka and borders the World Heritage Central Highlands and offers breathtaking panoramas of mountains and lush tea fields. Ceylon Tea Trails is an icon for small luxury resorts. Check-in to your Garden Suite. Rest of the day is free to relax in the comfort of your room. Overnight at Ceylon Tea Trails, Hatton.q

Dinner

Day 2 : The tea trail experience

Breakfast at the hotel. Today witness the tea trails. A resident Tea Planter will demonstrate the age-old tea making process. Follow the trail of the planters of old Ceylon, as they trekked through the dense jungle looking for the best slopes on which to plant tea. Then visit to the factory where the all-important conversion to “made” black tea happens. The machinery used is of very traditional British design, some as old as 100 years. This tour ends with a tasting of different grades of this great brew.

Note: Note – Please note that plucking of Tea leaves is not done on public holidays & Sundays. As such the Tea production process does not take place however a tour of the factory will be arranged where the process is explained.

Day 3 : Hatton – Wild Coast Tented Lodge - Yala (Approx. drive 5 hrs 30 mins) (2 Night)

Today after breakfast, proceed by your private transfer to Wild Coast Tented Lodge - Relais & Chateaux, Yala. The resort is situated in a stunning location where the jungle meets a rugged, empty beach, overlooking the Indian Ocean. On arrival check-in and proceed to your luxurious Cocoon Suite which offers private outdoor viewing deck overlooking a watering hole designed to attract a diverse array of fauna and flora.
Rest of the day is free to relax in the comfort of your room. Overnight at Wild Coast Tented Lodge Yala.

Day 4 : Yala National Park game drive

Today after breakfast, proceed for an exceptional wilderness experiences Yala National Park Safari. Vehicle will whisk you to the quietest corners of Yala National Park, whilst expert naturalist guides will be on hand to talk through the incredible diversity of flora and fauna, including Elephants, Leopards, Spotted Deer, sloth bears, Crocodiles, Mongoose, Wild Boar, Wild Buffalo, and many other animals. Rest of the day is at leisure Overnight at Wild Coast Tented Lodge Yala.

Note: The Yala National Park annual closure for rehabilitation of infrastructure is usually in the months of September and October. During this time game drives will take place to adjacent parks.

Day 5 : Yala – Cape Weligama (Approx. drive 4 hrs) (2 Night)

Today after breakfast, proceed by your private transfer to Cape Weligama - Relais & Chateaux. The resort captures Weligama's iconic sunset and has a stunning 60-metre crescent-shaped infinity pool that appears to flow seamlessly into the shimmering sea. On arrival check-in and proceed to your Ocean Villa features a verandah, for relaxation or dining. Rest of the day is free to relax in the comfort of your room. Overnight at Cape Weligama - Relais & Chateaux.

Day 6 : Cape Weligama - Day at leisure

Breakfast at the hotel. Today relax in the comfort of your room or explore neighbouring coves by kayak or swim and snorkel in the aquamarine bay beneath Cape Weligama. You can indulge in off shore activities including private sunset cruises, big game fishing and banana boating. Overnight at Cape Weligama.

Day 7 : Weligama –Colombo – Hometown

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated hereunder.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.
