Day 1 : Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling (Approx. 93 kms, 3 hrs drive)

Arrive at Bagdogra airport and proceed to Darjeeling. Often referred to as the “Queen of the Hills”, it remains just as alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Arrive at Darjeeling and check into your hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Note: All guests are requested to carry documents (04 passport size snaps and copies of valid Indian Photo ID address proof like election card driving license and passport)

Dinner

Day 2 : Darjeeling sightseeing

Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colours just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Overnight in Darjeeling.

Breakfast & Dinner

Day 3 : Darjeeling – Mirik Lake

After breakfast, proceed for day trip to Mirik Lake. It is situated at 48 kms west of Darjeeling near Nepal border which is 1.25 kms long, it is a semi-artificial lake. Drive from Darjeeling to Mirik is via natural forest & tea garden. The main tourist area, Krishna-Nagar, is south of the lake. A 10-minute walk takes you to Bokar Gompa, home to Mahayana monks. One can catch the sunrise and sunset from Rameetay Dara. Return to hotel. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 4 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra Airport (Approx. 93 kms, 3 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Bagdogra Airport to board flight or proceed to New Jalpaiguri station to board your train for your hometown. Holiday Concludes. Let’s stay in touch on Facebook\email and meet again on another memorable Holiday. See you soon!

Special Note

Holiday price valid for travel till March 2024. Rates not valid for Christmas and New Year. National holidays, Diwali unless specified. Compulsory high Season surcharges and Gala Dinner charges are applicable festive season and long weekends
Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check – out subject to availability
Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable
Local sightseeing in Gangtok will be done using Non AC Maruti Vans for all categories of hotels as per the regulation of the local transport associations
Local sightseeing in Pelling will be done using Non AC Jeeps/ Tata Sumos as per the regulation of the local transport associations
In this sector the same vehicle – irrespective of the vehicle type is not
allowed to do the entire tour due to various restrictions at each
destinations. Vehicles will be changed and our executives will keep the
guests informed about the same.

In case of any diversion due to landslide/road block any additional cost incurred with be payable directly by the guest.

Driver is NOT A GUIDE, he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own. Itinerary is subject to change.
If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability
The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice
The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated hereunder.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.
